Hi, I'm Casey Zane

I came to photography for the things I still love about it today: the visual precision, the problem-solving, and the satisfaction of a project coming together. I started out twelve years ago in technical still-life work, where I fell for the exacting lighting—every detail considered, every variable controlled. That experience still shapes how I see. Over time, I wanted to bring that same discipline to real spaces, which led me into interiors and architectural photography. Now, the work I love most is finding the balance between an image that's visually alive and one that's technically precise.

Design is central to how I see the world. I grew up in an artist's loft in Soho, and I moved back as to New York as an adult. Now based in Brooklyn and the Hudson Valley, I'm endlessly curious about how its neighborhoods change, and how architecture and design evolve alongside the people who live in them.

No two jobs are the same, and I treat them as unique stories. Whether photographing a single room, home, building, or commercial space, I work tirelessly to understand what my clients and collaborators need, and figure out how each photograph communicates a larger story with its audience.

As seen in: Remodelista, Divisare, BKMAG, urdesign, The Architect's NewPaper, Architecture Masterprize.
